Theodore (Ted) Oshman

Chairman of the Board and Vice President, Legal Affairs

Ted Oshman brings 30 years of investment experience in start-up enterprises to the ALTe Board of Directors. Trained as an attorney, Ted has provided early stage equity and debt financing to companies in the software, internet technology, medical technology, real estate, consumer product and green energy industries. He has made significant investments in companies such as Quigo, LLC., Novacure, The .TV Corporation, Sonaro Realty, CyberTavern, LLC, Eyescene, OBU Interactive, Two Dogs, LLC., Reonomy, LLC., Real Imaging and AppZorz, Inc.

In addition to his investment activities at ALTe and other companies, Ted serves as a member of the boards of numerous educational institutions, communal organizations and other not-for-profit organizations. He earned a BS in biology from the University of Rochester and a Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School. He has been designated a “SuperLawyer” by Thomson Reuters based upon his professional achievements as an attorney.
